Today,well yesterday( it’s 1:20 am in the morning) I went to Spa Bella Cosmetic center in the new National Harbor, Maryland. I went in the hopes to find a solution to my clogged pores and oily skin( some skin care products can’t be found at your local drug store) which needed a “medicated” solution.

First off, it was located in the very nice and new National Harbor, Maryland which is very nice. Basically Is a bunch of stores and medical buildings which are located just of the view of the National Harbor sea. Such a beautiful sight which I’m sure would look spectacular at night.

Any who, so parking was a bitch. Not in the means of finding a space to park, but the fact that it cost $25 cents for just 5 freakin minutes at the damn meter! Robbery! And to make maters even worse the darn meter only took quarters and did not state that in the meter and just took my dimes and nickel’s and didn’t even bother to give the crap back. And the stupid store across the way didn’t even want to give me change even though I brought there stupid off brand filtered tap water! I wanted to smack that clerk. I should of just parked in the garage like Bella Cosmetic Center told me in the first place.

So I met with Kim who is an RN at the Spa and my first impression was that “Damn she’s thin!” I wanted to ask her her secret and turns out she’s Vegan, go figure.

So needless to say perfect body Vegan nurse Kim didn’t bullshit me ( like some other doctors would) and cut straight to the chase. Kim used this high tech technology and took a picture of my skin. So it turns out that my skin isn’t as bad as I thought and that for my skin group( African American) is actually on the lower end of the screwed upskin scale of 24% percentile. So here were the results. I have clogged pores around my nose and surrounding areas. My skin texture could be slightly improved. I have no wrinkles( I better not! I’m only 24!) and surprisingly I have no sun damage!( I never wore a drop of sunscreen in my life).

So basically Kim recommended that I start at home with Bella Spa cleanser, Retina A, at home microdermabrasion kit, and a sample moisturizer so that I can see that people with oily skin can wear moisturizer.
