If your hair is dry, I recommend that you use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Try to shampoo your hair with *conditioner only* at least once a week. Yes I said Conditioner only. African American hair requires a lot of moisture, and if you hair is lacking it, well, that’s bad news.
Get it on track right away by moisturizing your hair and washing it weekly. Not every 3 weeks! If you have a weave, you can still wash your hair. It’s no excuse not to take care of your tresses.
So here is what you need to do to cure your dry hair:
-Wash your hair weekly (a good conditioning shampoo and conditioner)
-Wash your hair once a week with CONDITIONER ONLY
-Trim your ends every 6 weeks! (Girl if you don’t cut them ends, they will cause you to go bald! If they are split of course)
-Use a good moisturizer ( that works for your hair. Everybody’s hair is diffrent. FInd out what works for you!)
-Oil your scalp. (A healthy head of hair begins with an Healthy Scalp. Haven’t you seen the head and shoulder’s commercials?)
